Process Engineering - Assembly Line Move

Scope

• Provide Process Engineering support for the move of a TLB (Tractor-Loader-Backhoe) assembly process from Europe to the United States

Services Provided

• Assisted in teardown TLB unit & documented process to provide visual aids for future work instructions
• Designed & developed assembly & installation fixtures for the new assembly line
• Identified tooling requirements for all fasteners in the process
• Researched & defined torque requirements for all fasteners in the process
• Used video & photographs from initial teardown to develop Standard Work & Visual Aids
• Assisted in pre-production assembly process to validate tooling, fixtures & Standard Work prior to production runs
• Validated physical parts in stocking process against BOM
